WNBA Finals Game 6 Venue TBD Amid State Farm Arena Conflict
The Dream need a home site for Game 6 of the WNBA Finals against the Valkyries because the Hawks are scheduled to host the Cavaliers at State Farm Arena that night. The location of a potential WNBA Finals Game 6 between the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries remains uncertain due to a conflict between the two teams' scheduled games at State Farm Arena. The Hawks, the arena's primary tenant, are scheduled to host the Cleveland Cavaliers that night, while Game 6 is set for 8 p.m. ET. The WNBA has not provided an update on the situation. The Dream's regular home is Gateway Center Arena in College Park, Georgia, which holds 3,500 and is the league's smallest venue. Moving the Hawks-Cavaliers game would require approval from both teams, the NBA and broadcast partners. The series will return to Atlanta on Thursday, Oct. 29.
