Terms of service

The GridNet Services SA de CV,  a company located in the country of El Salvador .  together with its subsidiaries, collectively are hereby referred to below as “GridNet”

Advisors and others who may or may not be Doctors, Medical Staff, Lawyers, Legal Staff,  Veterinarians, Therapists and Teachers may also be referred to as Advisors. This site is intended to only give advice and not a professional diagnosis or professional opinions. Always get a second opinion from a licensed professional in your state for any advice given on this website.  

GridNet shall only be used by individuals who are eighteen years (18) of age and above. By using GridNet, Users agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Users who do not accept these terms and conditions should not use GridNet.

General Disclaimer. GridNet does not represent to be a Law Firm, Medical Doctor, Veterinarian, Therapist or Licensed Advisor  and as such does not offer legal medical, veterinarian, therapy advice to the public, but rather, it is a platform for communication between businesses and adult individuals. In the same vein, businesses that access the platform are third parties who are in no way affiliated with GridNet. GridNet does not recommend or endorse any business or advisor on this website, and cannot warranty or guarantee their credentials or qualifications.

Users of this platform are therefore advised to independently conduct a due diligence background check about any business or advisor as GridNet shall in no way be responsible for any loss arising from failure of any user to do so.

Using the GridNet platform does not create any form of  Law Firm, Medical Doctor, Veterinarian, Therapist or Advisor Client relationship between users and GridNet. Although GridNet reserves the right to organize online legal consultation between any user and a business, it shall not be a party to any Provider - Client agreement that may result therefrom.

GridNet shall not be liable for any loss arising from the acts or omissions of businesses engaged by any user on the platform. Accordingly, users are advised to conduct thorough research on the experience and knowledge of any business on GridNet prior to retaining their service or requesting or initiating a text, voice or video or any other form of online consultation with them.

Users that want to retain the services of a business beyond a consultation on GridNet should request a written agreement outlining the terms and conditions governing the Provider-Client relationship, and which agreement should include fees, expenses and other obligations.

GridNet is not responsible for the verification of the identity, credentials or qualifications of businesses who access GridNet or it's providers and advisors, nor is GridNet responsible for the reviewing, editing, or modification of profile information. For the purpose of this agreement, profile information may include information contained in business profiles, such as a business’s name, title, contact information, educational background,  practice areas or any other information and such information is provided by the advisor and none of it content has been verified on our part so do your own due diligence in  verifying such information.

GridNet is not also responsible for confirming whether or ensuring that businesses are insured against professional negligence or malpractice.

Users are therefore advised to conduct their own diligence regarding the identity, qualifications or insurance status of any business.

Acknowledgment. By using GridNet’s services or visiting GridNet’s website, Users acknowledge being eighteen (18) years of age or older, and the willingness to be bound by these terms of use.

Users Rights and Responsibilities. Users are legally and ethically responsible for any communications published or transmitted by them using this website. Users are obliged to respect the rights of others, including intellectual-property rights (copyright, patent and trademark), the right to privacy and the right against libel or slander.

Users give access to GridNet to any works created by them on this website as part of the normal backup process. Users may at any time remove any of their works from the website. Submission of content for any illegal activity is prohibited under this Terms of Use. GridNet accepts worldwide membership, as such, cannot guarantee that users’ communication won't run afoul of the law in other jurisdictions. A user having a complaint about the behavior or communications of another User should, if possible, attempt to resolve the conflict, by contacting that person directly.

GridNet usually plays no role in resolving conflicts between Users. GridNet is not responsible for Users’ actions and in-actions. Without prejudice to the above, Users may request the intervention of GridNet in resolving any dispute that arises. Request for GridNet to intervene in disputes between members is not a guarantee that it will (i) intervene, (ii) intervene promptly, (iii) resolve the dispute in favor either of the parties or (iv) successfully resolve the dispute. GridNet reserves the sole discretion on whether or not to intervene.

Users’ access to GridNet is for their personal use only. Users who choose to redistribute communications found on GridNet, are responsible to obtain permission from the author of the communication and other people who have rights over the communication. Users agree to protect their account and the security of other users by keeping their password safe. Users who reasonably believe their password to have been breached or their account accessed unauthorized agree to promptly contact GridNet.

GridNet’s Rights and Responsibilities. GridNet is only a platform for communication between Users. GridNet does not publish or author legal, medical or advice communications or content on this website. GridNet is not responsible for reviewing, editing or approving communications.

Although GridNet takes reasonable steps to maintain security, it can by no means absolutely guarantee system security. Users who believe there has been a breach of system security are advised to contact us for help by the contact link at the bottom of this page.

GridNet may delete files or stop processes belonging to a member, if its technical staff finds that such files or processes pose a threat to the proper technical operation of the system or to the security of other members. To preserve security, GridNet may disable a user's access, if its technical staff suspects that a username is being used by someone who is not authorized by the proper user.

GridNet may in its our sole and absolute discretion, to (i) edit, redact or otherwise change any content, (ii) re-categorize any content to place it in a more appropriate location or (iii) pre-screen or delete any content that is determined to be inappropriate or otherwise in violation of these terms of Use, including but not limited to content containing offensive language and advertisements. GridNet may refuse service to anyone and to terminate any user’s access at any time. GridNet shall not be responsible to maintain or produce data that is published or stored on the website. GridNet shall for no reason have an obligation to produce or provide information or data published on the website to any User or third parties.

Communication. GridNet is a platform for non-businesses and businesses (collectively Users) to interact. Accordingly, the content of the communication is provided by the users of the platform and not GridNet.

GridNet is not a party to the communications between Users and is not responsible to edit, modify, filter, screen, monitor, endorse or guarantee communications on this website.

GridNet shall not be liable for the content of any communications between Users on the website or any actions taken or not taken by any user based on communications on the platform. Users shall bear responsibility for confirming the veracity of the source and content of any communications.

GridNet is nor responsible for verifying the identity of any person who communicates on the website, nor does it make any representations with respect to the veracity of any communications on this website.

For the purpose of this agreement, communications include, but are not limited to, any communications directed any User from any fellow User directly or indirectly in relation to this website, which includes, but are not limited to, communications by businesses on GridNet, including profile information.

Communications on this website are limited, do not involve in-person evaluations or visits, and do not include safeguards and procedures typical of in-person evaluations and visits.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, GridNet may restrain or delete any communication on the website.

Should a potential lawsuit be involved in any legal matter, users are advised that initiating and defending lawsuits are time bound and failure to expeditiously take action may adversely affect their right. Accordingly, Users are advised to contact another attorney as soon as possible in the event that an attorney refuses to represent them.

An attorney’s decision not to represent a user should not be taken by such a user as an expression regarding the merits of the case.

GridNet provides platforms where Users may engage in the general discussion of advise, discuss the qualifications of businesses or other non- confidential topics. As such communications on GridNet may not be protected by the business-client privilege or other privilege doctrines.

Confidentiality; Privileges. GridNet reserves the right to include interactive forums and characteristics that are not suitable for discussing confidential or sensitive information.

Confidential information may include, but is not limited to, your name, contact information, identifying information about other persons or entities, evidence or admissions of civil or criminal liability, or other information about your  matters.

GridNet’s forums and features are aimed at the general discussion of advice and the qualifications of businesses. GridNet shall not bear responsibility for the willful or mistaken disclosure of confidential information. GridNet in no way makes any guarantee or warranty against the breach of communications on this website by third parties, including non-businesses, security breach, system malfunction, site maintenance, or for other reasons.

Users of this website agree that there is no guarantee or warranty as to the safety of communications provided on this website either from third parties or disclosure by the advisor-client privilege or other privilege doctrines. Users of this website also agree that GridNet shall not be liable in such circumstances. Users of this website agree not to share the information contained on this website which are proprietary in nature with any competitors of GridNet. Users also acknowledge that they are not competitors of GridNet.

In the event of breach of the above provision, it is agreed that in addition to monetary damages which may be insufficient in the circumstance, GridNet will be entitled to injunctive relief, without the requirement to post bond. This section shall remain binding even upon termination of this Agreement for a period of two (2) years, or for as long as the information in question remains a trade secret under applicable laws and regulations, whichever period is longer.

Legal Queries. Members of the public including businesses not representing Users and non-businesses may have access to Legal queries by Users (“Cases”) on GridNet. Accordingly, Users are advised not to submit or post confidential or sensitive information.

Cases may be unprotected against disclosure by the advisor-client privilege or work product doctrine. Users are prohibited from submitting confidential or indicting information that may be used against them as evidence or an admission of civil or criminal liability. By submitting Cases, Users agree to be contacted by businesses. The responses of businesses may be accessed by third parties and/or emailed to third parties including businesses and non-businesses. GridNet may refuse to publish, or email any case or any response to any case. GridNet may also edit or delete any Case or any response to any Case.

The foregoing notwithstanding, these terms in themselves does not constitute a representation by GridNet that an advisor-client relationship exists as the existence or not of an advisor-client relationship exists shall be a question of fact depending on each jurisdiction.

Limited Scope Initial Consultations. Users reserve the right to engage in limited-scope initial consultations on the website for a fee. The website may be used to send communications and payments for limited-scope initial consultations between a client and and avisor. The fee may be pre- authorized, processed, transferred or refunded in a manner deemed appropriate by GridNet subject to its discretion. Preauthorization of payment does not give clients a right to receive an initial consultation or other services from an advisor. Clients acknowledge that an advisor may revoke an offer for an initial consultation before or after payment is pre authorized for any reason, including but not limited to: the identification of a potential or actual conflict of interest, scheduling conflicts, or if the advisor believes that he or she does not have the relevant expertise to provide consultation or advice to the client. The Users agree that any consultation on GridNet is limited in scope to preliminary advice based upon the information provided, transmitted or made known by the client on the GridNet website. The client understands the preliminary nature of the advice received, and how such cannot take the place of a physical consultation and full evaluation of the case by a qualified advisor.

Further, the client appreciates that the advisor is not privy to all information needed to provide full advice to the client at the time of an initial consultation on GridNet, and the preliminary nature of any advice received by the client. The advisor is not responsible to provide advisor services beyond the limited scope of initial consultation.

Clients intending to retain additional services of an advisor on GridNet, should request to enter a written legal services agreement outlining the terms and conditions of the representation, including all fees, expenses and other obligations. GridNet is not a party to any representation that may occur beyond the limited scope initial consultation, and shall not be held responsible for any disputes arising therefrom.

Payments. Payments are processed by GridNet with the use of its payment providers online payment platforms. All Users making or receiving payments via GridNet agree to the  terms of service contained at the payment providers platform

GridNet payment providors may store your payment method on a file to ensure uninterrupted service and to enable Users to conveniently purchase additional products and services. 

User of GridNet, agree or are deemed to have agreed to be bound by the payment providers Services Agreement, as may be periodically amended. 

Fee Disputes. Where for whatever reason, a client objects to the amount charged for an initial consultation, such person will not be charged for the disputed amount provided that within forty-eight (48) hours of the charges being sent, the disagreement over the charges is reported by the client by email in the manner below.

The client must after logging in to his/her account, select the button to Report a Problem on the Messages page including the chat history with the business, after which the client will select the amount he/she is willing to pay, if any, using the modal form to report the problem.

The right to dispute fees or to receive a partial or full refund shall be forfeited by a client if such client fails to report the problem to GridNet as provided above within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving the charges by the client by email.

Satisfaction Guarantee. If for any reason, a client is not satisfied with an initial consultation, such client will not be charged provided that the reason for the dissatisfaction is reported within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving by charges by email in the format below:

The client must after logging in to his/her account, select the button to Report a Problem on the Messages page including the chat history with the business, after which the client shall submit the reason for the dissatisfaction, reporting the problem with the use of the form.

The right to cancel the pre-authorized payment or to receive a partial or full refund shall be forfeited by the client if such client fails to report the problem to GridNet as provided above within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving the charges by the client by email.

Free Trial; Advisor Membership. Advisors reserve the right to create a GridNet profile and conduct one paid initial consultation before subscribing to a paid membership plan. 

Following completion of the advisors first initial consultation (free trial), the advisor shall purchase a GridNet membership plan (described in further detail on the Membership page) to be eligible to conduct further consultations through GridNet.

It is hereby agreed that GridNet may revise the benefits of each membership plan at any time, and that the advisors only option to such revisions is to terminate his/her membership.

Advisors Duties Regarding Conflicts, Competence, and License. Advisors shall not have conflicts of interest and they shall be capable of proficiently providing the initial consultation sought. The fee paid by the client shall only be paid to the advisor after the completion of the initial consultation.

All consultations are only considered advice and advice only and are not any form of diagnosis on medical, veterinarian, therapy or legal matters. The giving or advice may or may not require a license in their state of operation. Advisors make a warranty that as at the time of setting up a GridNet account and at the time of offering and providing advise services to clients, that if required by their area of practice, that they are licensed to practice in their state.  Advisors undertake to stop offering and providing services on the GridNet platform and deactivate their account from the website immediately their license to practice law is suspended or revoked.

Advisor’s Other Duties. Further to the above duties in respect of conflicts, competence, and license, advisors who offer to provide initial advice on GridNet, undertake to promptly and diligently respond to clients.

Limitations on Use. All content on GridNet is for the personal use of the user only and not for commercial use. Users may not use this website to determine the eligibility of a consumer for: (a) credit or insurance for personal, family, or household purposes; (b) employment; or (c) a government license or benefit.

Users shall not use this website to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, rent, lease, loan, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works. Users shall not also use any network monitoring or discovery software to determine the site architecture, or extract information about usage, individual identities or users. Users shall not monitor or copy our website or its content without our prior written permission with the use of any robot, spider, other automatic software or device, or manual process. Users shall not transmit any false, misleading, fraudulent or illegal communications with this website.

Except to the extent permitted in this terms and conditions, users shall not copy, modify, reproduce, republish, distribute, display, or transmit for commercial, non-profit or public purposes all or any portion of this website.

Unauthorized use of this website or its content is prohibited. Users shall therefore not use or export or re-export this website or any portion thereof, or the content in violation of the export control laws and regulations.

No Unlawful or Prohibited Use. Users warrant not to use the GridNet website for any unlawful or prohibited purpose as set out by these terms, conditions, and notices. Users shall not use the GridNet website in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair it or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of it. Users shall by no means obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information which are not readily made available or provided on the GridNet websites. Querying-Users and advisor-users may only use GridNet for conducting initial online advice. It is prohibited for users other than querying-users or advisor-users to use the GridNet website for purposes other than conducting initial online advice.

Inappropriate Content. Users undertake not to upload, download, display, perform, transmit or otherwise distribute any content that: (i) is libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive or threatening; (b) advocates or encourages conduct that could constitute a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or otherwise violate any applicable local, state, national or foreign law or regulation; or (c) advertises or otherwise solicits funds or is a solicitation for goods or services. GridNet may terminate or delete such material from its servers. GridNet will fully support any law enforcement officials or agencies in the investigation of any violation of these terms of Use or of any applicable laws. Users agree to abandon their right to, for any reason, request or subpoena records from GridNet including but not limited to any information or data that is published on GridNet.

Links to Third Party websites. This website may contain links to websites controlled by parties other than GridNet. GridNet may provide links to other citations or resources with whom it is not affiliated. GridNet shall by no means be responsible for the availability, contents, products, services or use of any third party website, any website accessed therefrom or any changes or updates to such sites. The contents or quality of the products or services provided by such sites is not guaranteed by GridNet.

Webcasting or any other form of transmission received from any third- party website is not the responsibility of GridNet. GridNet including any link is not a proof that it endorses, is affiliated with, sponsors or guarantees the Third Party website, or is legally authorized to use any trade name, registered trademark, logo, legal or official seal, or copyrighted symbol that may be reflected in the links. By using this website, users agree to bear all risks associated with access to and use of content provided on a third party website and accept that GridNet is not liable for any loss or damage of any sort resulting dealing with a third party.

Ownership. The GridNet S.A. de C.V. in the country of El Salvador owns and operates this website . All right, title and interest in and to the materials provided on this website, including but not limited to information, documents, logos, graphics, sounds and images are owned either by GridNet or by their respective third-party authors, developers or vendors. No materials may be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, uploaded, posted, displayed, transmitted or distributed in any way without GridNet’s express permission.

GridNet does not confer any license of intellectual property rights, whether by estoppel, implication or otherwise. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by GridNet.

Copyrights.  The GridNet Services S.A. de C.V. owns all website design, text, graphics, the selection and arrangement thereof. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.

Trademarks. The GridNet Services S.A. de C.V., owns all images and text, and all page headers, custom graphics and button icons are service marks, trademarks and/or trade dress. All other trademarks, product names and company names or logos cited herein are the property of their respective owners.

Liability Disclaimer. Users should note that inaccuracies or typographical errors may be included in the information, software, products, and services included in or available through the website. Information herein is also changed from time to time. GridNet and/or its affiliates reserve the right to, at any time, improve or change anything in the GridNet website.

Users should not make personal, medical, legal or financial decisions based solely on advice received on the GridNet website. Rather, they should seek professional advice that is appropriate for their peculiar circumstance.

GridNet and/or its affiliates does not for any purpose, guarantee or warranty the suitability, reliability, availability, timeliness, and accuracy of the information, software, products, services and related graphics contained on the GridNet website. GridNet represents that all information, software, products, services and related graphics are the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, provided "as is" and without warranty or condition of any kind.

All warranties and conditions with regard to this information, software, products, services and related graphics, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchant-ability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement are hereby disclaimed by GridNet and/or its affiliates. Save where the law does not permit, GridNet and/or its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use or performance of the GridNet website (s), with the delay or inability to use the GridNet website or related services, the provision of or failure to provide services, or for any information, software, products, services and related graphics obtained through the GridNet website, or otherwise arising out of the use of the GridNet website, whether based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if GridNet or any of its affiliates has been advised of the possibility of damages. The above limitation shall not be applicable to states/jurisdictions that do not permit exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages.

Users who are not satisfied with any portion of the GridNet website, or with any of these terms of use, have a sole remedy of refraining from using the website.

No Warranty. The site and all materials, documents or forms provided on or through your use of the site are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. GridNet, to the fullest extent permitted by law, expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchant- ability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement.

GridNet makes no warranty that: (a) the site or the materials will meet your requirements; (b) the site or the materials will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free basis; (c) the results that may be obtained from the use of the site, or any materials offered through the site, will be accurate or reliable; or (d) the quality of any products, services, information or other material purchased or obtained by you through the site or in reliance on the materials will meet your expectations. Users who obtain any materials through the site do so understanding the risk involved. GridNet shall be free from any liability for any damage to your computer system or loss of data resulting from downloading content, materials, information or software.

Limitation of Liability and Indemnification.  The GridNet Services S.A. de C.V. and its officers, directors, programers, employees, and agents shall be held harmless and indemnified for any indirect, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential damage, however it arises (including attorneys fees and all related costs and expenses of litigation and arbitration, or at trial or on appeal, if any, whether or not litigation or arbitration is instituted), whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other tortious action, or arising out of or in connection with this agreement, including without limitation any claim for personal injury or property damage, arising from this agreement and any violation of any federal, state, or local laws, statutes, rules, or regulations, even if GridNet has been previously advised of the possibility of such damage.

Where GridNet is found to be liable, such liability shall, except as allowed pursuant to the arbitration agreement of these terms of use, be limited to the amount paid for the products and/or services. In no event shall there be consequential or punitive damages. The above limitation or exclusion may not apply to states that do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Under no circumstance, shall GridNet, its related companies, or each such company’s respective directors, officers, members, programers, employees, shareholders, affiliates, distribution partners or agents be legally responsible for any legal fees or indirect, special, consequential, incidental, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind (including, without limitation, any damages for loss of revenue, profits, use or data), however caused, whether for breach of contract, negligence or under any other legal theory, whether foreseeable or not and whether or not GridNet has been advised of the possibility of such damage, and regardless of the failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. Limitations of liability are agreed allocations of risk and are reflected in the fees agreed upon by the parties. The limitations of liability set forth in this Agreement are important conditions forming the root of bargain, without which the Parties would not enter into any legal agreement to provide the service. Without prejudice to the user’s indemnification obligations to GridNet under this agreement, the liability of parties shall not exceed the total amount paid by the user to GridNet over the preceding three-month period, and the liabilities of parties shall not exceed one thousand US Dollars ($1,000.00).

Words like "GridNet," "we" and "us" as used in this arbitration agreement shall be interpreted to include our respective subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, employees, predecessors in interest, successors, and assigns, as well as all authorized or unauthorized users or beneficiaries of services or products under these terms or any prior agreements between us.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, either GridNet or the User reserves the right to bring an individual action in small claims court.

By this agreement, parties acknowledge that they have waived their right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.

The Federal Arbitration Act shall be the applicable law to govern the interpretation and enforcement of this provision. This arbitration provision will survive the termination of these terms.

Dispute resolution either by small claims court or arbitration will commence with the aggrieved party sending, a written Notice of Dispute ("Notice") to the other party, by certified DHL courier to

Advisor Ethics Notice.  Advisors involved in this website agree that the Rules of Professional Conduct of the jurisdictions where they are licensed ("Rules") applies to all aspects of their participation and undertake to abide by these Rules. These Rules include, but are not limited to, the rules relating to confidentiality, advertising, solicitation of clients, unauthorized practice of law, therapy, medicine, medical or veterinary, and misrepresentations of fact.

GridNet shall not be responsible for the compliance with these Rules. Users agree that GridNet shall be faultless for any ethical breach by businesses who make use of this website. Advisors undertake to keep all information and communications on this website strictly confidential, including but not limited to proprietary information regarding GridNet services.

Privacy Policy. GridNet considers the protection of Users’ privacy as very important. Accordingly, Users are advised to review the website’s Privacy Policy, which sets out GridNet’s procedure for handling personal information and protecting the privacy of users.

Choice of Law. Users of this website unequivocally agree to have their rights and obligations governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Country of El Salvador. 

Termination/Access Restriction. GridNet may on its discretion and without recourse to the User, terminate access to the GridNet.com website and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice.

Modification. GridNet may without recourse to the User, change the terms, conditions and notices governing the offering of the GridNet website, including but not limited to the charges associated with use of the GridNet website. Users are responsible to periodically review these Terms of Use periodically for changes.
