COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Howlin' Willy's Hot Chicken is opening a new location in East Cobb. The restaurant will host its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, April 9.

The eatery said in a release that it's bringing its bold flavors and heat to the heart of East Cobb. The restaurant will open its doors at 4250 Roswell Rd, Suite 600, in Marietta, which is near the East Cobb Crossing Shopping Center.

This will be the chicken chain's fourth location. There are already restaurants at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, along Briarcliff Road Northeast in Druid Hills, and on Virginia Avenue in Hapeville.

The East Cobb location will feature mouthwatering hot chicken wings and tenders with extra-spicy Howlin' sauce for those looking to turn up the heat. There are also several other heat levels to choose from: Not Hot, Kinda Hot, Sweet Heat and Willy Hot.

“Howlin’ Willy’s delivers more flavor than other hot chicken restaurants,” Willy Bitter, founder and entrepreneur of Willy's Mexicana Grill, said in the release. "That’s because we introduce different chili peppers to our dry rub seasonings for each heat level.”

On April 9, the first 50 guests who purchase a meal with receive a Howlin' prize pack with an entrée with Howlin’ Heat and a free Howlin’ Heat T-shirt. There will also be giveaways, including free samples of milkshakes and fried apple pies.

Guests are also invited to participate in a Beat the Heat Challenge at the restaurant.

“Howlin’ Heat gets its kick from ghost peppers and a special secret ingredient that keeps turning up the heat with each bite,” Bitter said. “It’s a ton of fun watching participants try to keep their game faces on as they keep going.”
