Flock concerns to be spotlighted at Metro Atlanta city’s town hall
South Fulton is one of several cities that have hosted community meetings on the automatic license plate readers. A town hall in South Fulton, Georgia, will address concerns about the use of Flock cameras in their community. This comes as a state lawmaker is proposing statewide legislation to regulate the use. The town hall will allow people to ask questions from law enforcement and a representative from Flock Safety. State Sen. Jaha Howard argues that Flock technology has proven useful for law enforcement but also there have been reports of officers misusing the technology. Howard calls for statewide regulation of the cameras and how they are used on public and private property.
