Following the 2023 season, the Atlanta Falcons had two positions on their roster that needed to be addressed. While the team revamped its quarterback room by signing Kirk Cousins and drafting Michael Penix Jr., the EDGE position received less attention.

Not only did the Falcons lose Bud Dupree and Calais Campbell (the team’s co-sack leaders in 2023), but they waited until the third round to address the position in the draft and did little in free agency.

However, Washington’s Bralen Trice is an exciting prospect and both Lorenzo Carter and Zach Harrison will return. Plus, third-year outside linebacker Arnold Ebiketie is a potential breakout candidate going into the 2024 season.
