Transportation officials detail temporary closure of MARTA’s Airport Station

MARTA’s Airport Station in Atlanta, Georgia, will temporarily close for renovations to the concourse and platform levels for six weeks starting on April 8 and lasting until May 19. The closure is expected to last until May 8. During the construction period, MARTA will offer a bus shuttle service between College Park Station and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’�s lower-level North Terminal. The shuttle service will operate from 4 a.m. to 2 a. m. daily, with passengers advised to add 30 minutes to their estimated journey time to the shuttle. A news conference will be held at 10 a.M.A.MTA and the airport will provide more information on shuttle services at a later date.
