Fletcher, of Atlanta, has been charged with misdemeanor child endangering after a car rolled away with her daughter inside, causing it to roll backward into another car. The incident occurred in the Palm Plaza, 1954 Elm Road, on Wednesday afternoon. A witness reported seeing the car roll backward and strike another vehicle, then pull forward and stop. Fletcher told police she left her child alone in the car while she went into a wireless phone store. She said her daughter told her that she pressed a button and the car started rolling. The other vehicle was not damaged.
