Arthritis Foundation opens newly renovated Midtown Atlanta headquarters to reach more people

The foundation leaders say the upgraded space in Atlanta will help expand education, advocacy, and support for people living with arthritis. The Arthritis Foundation has opened its newly renovated Midtown Atlanta headquarters to expand education, advocacy, and support for those living with arthritis. The foundation estimates that nearly 200,000 people in Fulton County have been diagnosed with some form of arthritis, and an estimated 60 million Americans are living with doctor-diagnosed arthritis. President and CEO Steven Taylor suggested that there may be another 30 to 40 million undiagnosed patients. The renovated headquarters features a Jane Wyman Studio, which will allow the foundation to create more educational content and reach more people with information about arthritis research, treatment options, and resources. The studio is named after late Oscar-winning actress Jane Wyzman, who supported the Arthritis foundation and helped raise millions of dollars for the organization.
