He used his social media platform to reach out to several artists, including Young Thug and Gunna, to encourage them to set aside their differences and restore their bond before Thug's RICO trial. The message was directed to the former rap partners, but two days later, Thug responded by replying "f**k the streets." Other artists involved in the conversation included Future, Offset and Quavo, and a former member of the rap group "Smoke", and an upcoming song "What Happened To the Streets?"
