High temperatures will reach the low 90s tomorrow, with temps expected to reach mid to upper 90s Friday through the weekend, with overnight lows in the low 70s. The humidity will increase, but it won't be oppressive throughout the weekend. A code orange is in effect for respiratory issues such as asthma and respiratory issues, so limit time outside during the heat of the day. Despite the potential for scattered showers and storms Monday and a few isolated storms Tuesday, temperatures will drop back into the low-90s next week.

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - It’s another fairly comfortable start to the day with temperatures in the upper 50s to mid 60s. The humidity is a touch higher, but it won’t feel sticky as you head out the door.
It’s important to note, we have our first air quality alert of the season today. A code orange is in effect, which essentially means if you have respiratory issues such as asthma, you need to take extra caution and limit time outside-- especially during the heat of the day.
Through the day today, you’ll notice more clouds with highs climbing into the mid to upper 80s.
The 80s will be a thing of the past for the rest of the week.
Highs will climb into the low 90s tomorrow with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 90s Friday through the weekend.
Mornings will also be warmer, with overnight lows in the low 70s through the rest of the work week and mid to upper 70s through the weekend.
The humidity won’t be oppressive, but higher through the weekend. This will allow heat index values to climb into the triple digits. However, it looks like it won’t be humid enough for us to reach heat advisory criteria. A heat advisory in North Georgia requires feels like temperatures to reach 105°.
When it comes to rain, we will have the chance for scattered showers and storms Monday, and a few isolated storms Tuesday.
Highs will drop back into the low 90s to kick off next week.
